Full River Fun Featuring Class IV Rafting

Each year the Class IV action of the Ocoee River begins in early May! The Upper section of the Ocoee River may have fewer rapids than the Middle section but the Upper contains all the class IV the Ocoee has to offer.

The Upper Section of the Ocoee River will begin Saturday releases this season on May 6, 2023

Typically there are two to three Saturday recreational releases of the Upper section of the Ocoee River prior to Memorial Day Weekend. Additionally Sunday releases begin Memorial Weekend and run through Labor Day. After Labor Day Sunday releases end but there are a few more Saturday releases during September.
